SAN DIEGO (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV's Molly Helgesson was downed in straight sets during Wednesday's first round of the 2022 ITA National Fall Championships being staged this week at the Barnes Tennis Center on the campus of San Diego State.
 
Helgesson lost 6-3, 6-1 to Texas A&M's 58th-ranked Mary Stoiana to drop to 4-4 this fall. She now moves to the consolation draw of the elite event to face Texas' Marlee Zein on Thursday. Live scoring and video are available online here.
