LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV volleyball team (5-1) is back on the road this week with a trip to Lawrence, Kansas for the Kansas Invitational. The two-day tournament begins Thursday morning at 10 a.m. (PT) with a match against Wichita State (3-2) and closes out with a contest against No. 19 Kansas (6-0) Friday at 4:30 p.m. (PT).
The Scarlet & Gray enter the weekend after having won two of its last three matches at the Rebel Challenge last weekend. The Rebels were handed their first loss of the season against Miami-FL (3-2) Sunday morning.Â

ON THE SIDELINES
The Rebels will hit the road again next weekend for the Southern Utah Invitational with bouts against Idaho State, Southern Utah and Utah Tech, formally known as Dixie State. The two-day tournament features two matches day one, with the Scarlet & Gray playing Friday against Idaho State in the morning (11 a.m. (PT)) and again against SUU in the evening (6 p.m. (PT)), before heading down to St. George on Saturday for the final contest against Utah Tech (2 p.m. (PT)).Â
LEADERS IN THE MW AND THE NATION
- UNLV currently ranks 22nd in the NCAA for assists per set (13.08) and 42nd for kills per set (13.71).
- The Rebels currently sit second in the conference for assists per set (13.08) and kills per set (13.71) and they also rank third in blocks per set (2.48) and in hitting percentage (.258).Â
- Senior Jhenna Gabriel leads the conference and sits 30th in the nation for assists with 10.50 per set.
- Sophomore Dakota Quinlan sits fourth in the conference for hitting percentage (.358) and seventh in blocks with 19 total and 1.12 per set.
- Senior Ellease Crumpton ranks fifth in the MW for blocks with 16 total and 1.14 per set.
- Redshirt-junior Isabel Martin ranks third in the MW for kills per set with 4.00 and ranks fourth for points with 4.44 per set.
- Junior Gabrielle Arretche-Ramos sits fourth in the MW in kills per set with 3.83 and sits eighth for points with 4.04 per set.
- Freshman Maya Sands is tied for fifth in the MW for service aces with 0.50 per set.
- Junior Arien Fafard hit her 1,000th career assist during the UNT Invitational.Â

Single-game ticket prices this season are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, faculty and staff, and $5 to groups of 15 or more. Fans that purchase tickets online before game day can get them for an advanced single-game price of $6.Â
All high school, middle school and elementary students are free under UNLV's new admission policy. To receive free admission, high school students must present valid Nevada are school I.D. at the box office on gameday for one (1) complimentary ticket. Current UNLV students will receive free admission with a valid school I.D. All other students will receive a complimentary ticket at the box office (no I.D. required). Kids not yet elementary school age will continue to receive free admission for all UNLV Olympic sports.
