LAS VEGAS - The UNLV Rebel Swimming & Diving teams will host the annual Winter Invite this weekend (Dec. 18-20) at the Buchanan Natatorium. Both teams come into this event undefeated in the Mountain West Conference and look for a top place finish once again.
The annual event is the largest swim meet in the city and will host more than 50 teams from all over the country. Schools such as Cal Berkerly, New Mexico State, and Pacific will be participating in this weekend's meet.
Several US National Team members will also be competing. Chad Carvin, Kaitlin Sandeno, and Bobby Brewer, along with B-team members Aaron Peirsol and Stacianna Stitts will all be swimmers to watch during the Winter Invite.
