March 24, 1998

AUSTIN, Texas - The top-ranked UNLV men's golf team finished in fourth place after shooting a final-round even-par 288 at the Cleveland Golf/Morris Williams Intercollegiate played at the The Hills Country Club at Lakeway (Par 72, 6,954 yards), Tuesday.

Houston (294-287-291-872, eight-over par) finished the tournament with the same score as Florida (295-290-287-872), but won the tie-breaker to capture the title.
