CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The No. 41-ranked UNLV men's tennis defeated No. 48 Minnesota 4-1 to close play at the H.E.B. Team Invitational held in the H.E.B. Tennis Center Sunday.

The Rebels (6-3) finished the three-day tournament with a 2-2 record.

UNLV began the day by winning the doubles point after taking two of three matches. The Rebels then got wins from Asaf Tishler, Nenad Zivkovic and Gregor Skorin to clinch to victory. The remaining two singles matches were cancelled.

UNLV next hosts Utah on March 13 at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
