March 7, 1998 CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The No. 41-ranked UNLV men's tennis lost the deciding doubles point and fell to No. 34 SMU in the third round of the H.E.B. Team Invitational being held in the H.E.B. Tennis Center Saturday.
The Rebels (5-3) lost their second straight match to a WAC opponent.
The teams split singles with UNLV getting wins from Nenad Zivkovic, Danny Erez and Brandon Fallon for its three points. The Mustangs, however, took two of the three doubles matches for the decisive team point.
The tournament concludes Sunday.
