AUSTIN, Texas - UNLV senior Damu Bobb lost in straight sets Monday in the first day of qualifying at the 1998 ITA All-American Men's Tennis Championships being held at the Penick-Allison Tennis Center.

Bobb fell to David Hodge of Baylor, 6-0, 6-1, and was eliminated. However, three Rebels will begin play in the main draw, which begins Thursday. Senior Asaf Tishler, ranked 27th, will play singles and the team of sophomores Gregor Skorin and Nenad Zivkovic, ranked 25th, will compete in doubles.
