BALTIMORE, Md. - One UNLV doubles team won to advance while another was eliminated at the 1998 T. Rowe Price Clay Court Championships held at the Suburban Racquet Club Friday.

The no. 25-ranked Rebel duo of Nenad Zivkovic and Gregor Skorin defeated seventh-seeded Greg Papadia and Luis Sepesi of Colorado, 1-6, 6-4, 7-6, to advance to Saturday's second round.

Also in the main draw, the duo of Asaf Tishler and Danny Erez fell to Rob Meyers and Chris James of Purdue, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.

Rain led to the postponement of singles play.
