LAS VEGAS - UNLV's Nenad Zivkovic and Damu Bobb both moved into Saturday's round of 16 during the third day of the 1998 ITA Regional Championships being played at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

In Friday's main draw action, which once again was delayed by rain, fifth-seeded Zivkovic downed Selim Baccar of Nevada, Reno 6-3, 6-1.

Bobb won a make-up second round match 6-0, 6-4 over Kyle Rainey of Air Force and then moved on to upset third-seeded Manual Calvo of BYU 6-1, 3-6, 6-3.

However, three Rebels were eliminated. Danny Erez was nipped by fourth-seeded Pepe Caballero of New Mexico 6-7, 7-5, 6-2, Tyler Roberts fell to Nick Losee of BYU, 6-4, 7-5, and Gregor Skorin was defeated by Nicolas Dubey of New Mexico, 6-2, 7-6. Two rounds of doubles were played late Friday night.

Two rounds of singles matches will take place Saturday with the semi-finals and finals scheduled for Sunday.
