LAS VEGAS (AP) - Kaspars Kambala and Jermaine Lewis each scored 22 points as UNLV came back to beat San Diego State 82-72 in overtime in a Mountain West Conference game Saturday night.
Trevor Diggs added 16 points for the Rebels (12-8, 3-2) and Sylvester Dotson added 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Al Faux led San Diego State (11-7, 1-4) with 19 points. Randy Holcomb added 17 points and Deandre Moore scored 14 before fouling out with 22 seconds left in regulation.
The Aztecs led by 13 at the half and held the lead until 3:52 remaining when Vince Booker hit two free throws, giving UNLV a 59-58 lead.
The Runnin' Rebels built the lead to 70-65 with 28.7 seconds left before Holcomb scored inside to cut the margin to three points.
UNLV's Chris Richardson threw the inbounds pass away to give the Aztecs another shot and Faux hit a 3-pointer to tie the game at 70 with 10 seconds left.
In overtime, the Aztecs missed three shots and turned the ball over four times and UNLV scored 10 straight points to end the game.
