Ohio State Dominates Host UNLV At Tennis Invite

LAS VEGAS - Ohio State players swept four singles matches and two doubles meetings with the host school in the first day of the UNLV Men's Tennis Fall Invitational at the Fertitta Tennis Complex Friday.

The competition, which counts only individual results and not as team dual matches, saw the Buckeyes win all but one set from UNLV as Rebel Avirim Soloman fell to Paul Warkentin, 6-2, 3-6, 6-2.

In other action, Minnesota players won all seven singles matches and also swept three doubles meetings vs. Northern Arizona in a morning match and then swept six singles matches and four doubles results over Oklahoma in the afternoon.

The invite continues tomorrow but UNLV players will not take to the courts again until Sunday.
