BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UNLV men's golf team was unable to improve its position on the leaderboard as heavy rains and wet grounds forced the cancellation of the final round at the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate on Tuesday.

The second-ranked Rebels sat in a fourth-place tie after 36 holes played on Monday, and sophomore Ryan Moore was just one stroke off the lead. UNLV has just one event remaining on its fall schedule.

The Rebels head to Kahuku, Hawaii, to compete in the Turtle Bay Intercollegiate on Nov. 3-5.
