AUSTIN, Texas - Lorena Diaconescu wrapped up her collegiate career with a 49th place finish in the prelims of the 100 freestyle at the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas. Her time of 50.81 tied her with Arizona's Jenny Vanker. The top 16 finishers compete in the finals and earn All-America honors.

Diaconescu leaves the UNLV swimming program as a two-time All-American and a three-time Mountain West Conference Swimmer of the Year.
