LAS VEGAS - UNLV women's track and field/cross country head coach Karen Dennis' contract has not been renewed effective June 30, 2002, athletics director John Robinson announced Thursday.

"We have decided to move in a new direction with our women's track and field and cross country programs and we wish Coach Dennis the best in the future," Robinson said.

The search for a new coach will begin immediately.
