LAS VEGAS - The Rebel women's cross country team will host the UNLV Cross Country Invitational on Saturday morning at Sunset Park in Henderson. This will be the lone home meet of the season for the Rebels, and their last before the Mountain West Conference Championships on Nov. 1 in San Diego, Calif.

Prior to the women's race, the Golden West College men's team will compete in an 8K event, starting at 8 a.m. The women will then start their 5k race at 8:45 a.m. Also participating in the event in addition to UNLV will be Cal State Dominguez Hills, Golden West College, Modesto JC, and Utah Valley State.

The Rebels' top performer in 2003 has been junior Michele Suzak, as she's turned in the team's top finish in all four meets thus far. Also running strong has been Sarah Loughlin, Erin Hammond, and Yolonda Chee.
