LAS VEGAS - The UNLV men's basketball team will hold its first public showcase of the 2003-04 season on Saturday, November 1, as it hosts the annual Scarlet and Gray Game at 8 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Admission is free to the event, which follows a 6 p.m. Rebel volleyball match vs. Colorado State (also at the Thomas & Mack Center).

Following the scrimmage, the Runnin' Rebels will be available to meet fans and sign autographs.

UNLV, under third-year head coach Charlie Spoonhour, returns three starters off last season's 21-11 team and welcomes six new faces to the 2003-04 roster. The team will host exhibition games on Nov. 10 against the Los Angeles Stars and Nov. 15 against the Houston Superstars before its season opener against Delaware State on Nov. 21 at the Thomas & Mack Center.
