Oh, Rebels Move Up Leaderboard

REDMOND, Wash. - The UNLV women's golf team moved up two spots on the leaderboard from 10th to eighth after second-round play at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational on Tuesday.

The Rebels shot 309, one stroke better than its opening-round total, to move to 43-over par for the tourney.

Leading the way is California, who at 15-over holds a one-stroke lead over both Arizona and UCLA.

The Golden Bears' Anna Temple leads the individual race at two-under par. She carries a two-stroke advantage into Wednesday's final round at the par=72, 5,5953-yard Sahalee Country Club.

Sophomore Sunny Oh led UNLV on the day, shooting 74 to move to seven-over and into a tie for 15th place.

A 76 from Seema Sadekar, a 77 from Elena Kurokawa and an 82 from Hwanhee Lee rounded out the Rebels' team scoring. Tina Mabanta shot 83, which was discarded from the team total.

The Rebels will begin final-round play at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
