SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Both the UNLV men's and women's swimming and diving teams fell to Utah on Saturday afternoon in Salt Lake City. The men lost 157.5-83.5, while the women dropped a 143-94 decision.

The men's team opened the meet with a win in the 400 medley relay. Jonathan Hugo, Patrick Adams, Michael Day and Joe Bartoch won in a time of 3:24.07.

Bartoch also won the 100 free in 47.32, just out-touching Utah's Matan Ratz who took second in 47.67.

On the women's side, Shayna Burns won the 200 breast in 2:22.83 and Jessica Field won both the 1 and 3 meter diving competitions with a final score of 186.20 and 203.40 respectively.

UNLV host New Mexico and UC-Irvine on November 11 at the Buchanan Natatorium.
