Oh Tied For 25th At Nationals

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - UNLV freshman golfer Sunny Oh shot a third-round four-over-par 76 on Thursday at the NCAA Women's Golf Championship at Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex. She fell four places in the standings and is in a 10-way tie for 25th place.

After three rounds, Oh remains the top performer among those competing as individuals (78-76-76--230; 14-over-par). The first Rebel to ever play in the national tournament, she carded a birdie and five bogeys during the third round on the par-72, 6,225-yard Kampen Course.

The third round was the first to see under-par scores as eight golfers broke par. Oh is 10 shots behind co-leaders Mikaela Parmlid of USC (77-73-70--220; four-over) and Andrea Vander Lende of Florida (77-74-69--220), who shot two-under and three-under on the day, respectively.

USC (305-303-293--901; 37-over) held onto the team lead and is seven shots ahead of Pepperdine (315-298-295--908) heading into Friday's final round.

Oh's final round tee time is scheduled for 8:50 a.m. CDT.
