LAS VEGAS - UNLV senior Julie Unrau has been named Mountain West Conference Women's Swimmer of the week. This is the first career weekly honor for Unrau.

Unrau, a Surrey, B.C., Canada, native, turned in two individual victories and was a part of a winning relay team last weekend in UNLV's tri-meet sweep of College of Charleston and Florida Atlantic. She opened the meet helping the Rebels' 400 medley relay team to a victory in a time of 3:56.59. She followed that with individual wins in the 100 (56.98) and the 200 butterfly (2:06.06) to complete her meet. Her time in the 100 fly is the fastest in the conference this season, while her time in the 200 fly is fourth fastest in the MWC in 2003-04.
