INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Joe Bartoch, a junior on the UNLV men's swimming team, finished up competition in the World Short Course Swimming Championships on Saturday after recording a 24th place finish in the 50-meter fly. The meet, the biggest international competition of the year outside of the Olympics, was held at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Bartoch, a native of Ontario, Canada, finished the race in 24.69. Earlier in the meet, he set a new personal best in the 100-meter fly with a time of 53.70 to place 16th.
