RENO, Nev. - Nevada, Reno won 10 of the first 11 events of the meet on the way to building a comfortable lead in a 163-135 win over the UNLV women in a collegiate swim meet on Thursday afternoon.

The host Wolf Pack took two of the top three spots in the first 11 events as well, with the one UNLV victory coming in the 1000 yard free, as Julie babin won the race in a time of 10:36.18. Kari Nettenstrom then added a win in the 500 free in 5:14.01. UNLV (0-3 overall) would make the final margin closer by winning the last three events after UNR exhibitioned their swimmers in the events.

UNLV returns to action on Saturday, as the Rebels will host BYU and Toronto in a tri-meet at Noon. The men will also swim both teams, and could be a huge meet in determining the MWC regular season champion on the men's side, as the undefeated Rebels take on the preseason favorite Cougars.
