It was a tight meet the entire way on the men's side between UNLV and BYU, and the Rebels held a 98-95 lead with just two events left, but a 1-2-3 sweep in the 200 breast and a first-place finish in the 400 yard free lifted the Cougars to the victory. Also winning events for the Rebel men were Brandon Nelms in the 50 free (20.85), and Kyle Tannehill in the 200 back (1:52.07).
