Weekend Sweep

LAS VEGAS - UNLV completed a sweep of its opening weekend of dual-match play by downing Weber State 6-1 Sunday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

The 37th-ranked Lady Rebels (3-0) opened the morning by taking three doubles matches for one team point.

In singles play, UNLV did not lose a set in the bottom five matches after WSU picked up a point at the top spot.

Winning for the Lady Rebels were Agnieska Abram, Anne Claire Ortiz-Luis, Cindy Treber, Claire Smith and Mery Constanti.

UNLV will now prepare for its first road trip of season. The Lady Rebels will take on No. 2 Stanford on Feb. 13 and No. 3 California one day later.
