Rebels Beat Bengals

LAS VEGAS - The UNLV men's tennis team closed out a nine-match homestand with a 5-2 win over Idaho State at the Fertitta Tennis Complex Friday.

The Rebels improved to 7-4 overall, including 7-2 at home this spring.

UNLV started the day by taking two of three doubles matches for one team point.

In singles play, UNLV's top four players were winners: 57th-ranked Henner Nehles at No. 1, Aviram Salomon at No. 2, Joel Kielbowicz at No. 3 and David DiMartino at No. 4.

The Rebels will next be in action as part of the Boise State Invitational March 25-27, starting with a match vs. Cal Poly on Thursday.
