PALO ALTO, California - Christine Spence took first place honors in the high jump as the UNLV women's track and field team competed in the Stanford Invitational on Saturday at Cobb Track & Angell Field on the Stanford campus.
Spence jumped a height of 1.76 meters earning the top spot over Missouri's Jenny Bybee who jumped 1.73 meters.
Halima Decree was another top finisher for the Rebels as she placed fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.77.
As a team, UNLV earned its best finish in the 4x100-meter relay finishing eighth at 47.23. USC won the 4x100 at 45.14.

UNLV will return to action on Saturday, April 3 at the Cal/Nevada Championships.
