LONG BEACH, Calif. - Three UNLV student-athletes finished at the top of the 100 meter dash at the 63rd annual Jack Rose Long Beach Relays on Saturday to highlight the day for the Rebels.

Halima Decree, Miesha McClendon and Kiyota Reed all finished at the top with times of 12.10, 12.34 and 12.66, respectively in the event.

Other top performances for UNLV included McClendon's second-place showing in the 100 meter hurdles at 14.39 and Kiyota Reed's third place finish in the same event at 14.46. Michele Suszek finished second in the 3000 meter steeplechase at 11:12.79, while Ashley Pierce finished fourth with a time of 12:18.79.

As a team, UNLV finished second in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 46.95. USC won the event at 46.66. The Rebels also finshed second behind USC in the 4x200 meter relay.

Tiffany Smith and Halima Decree finished 1-2 in the long jump, while Nicole Duhart won the triple jump event. Christine Spence finished second in the high jump.
