LOS ANGELES - UNLV's Kiyota Reed and Miesha McClendon posted a 2-3 finish in the 100 meter hurdles to highlight action for the UNLV Track & Field team on their first day of competition in the UCLA Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational on Friday at the Drake Stadium and Marshall Field. The Rebels will continue competing on Saturday in the final day of events in the meet.
Reed posted a time of 14.02 for second place, while McClendon was third in 14.03 in the 100m hurdles for UNLV. Also posting top three finishes were Angeline Gbahi in the shot put (43-08.50), and Tiffany Smith in the long jump (17-05.00).
