AUSTIN, Texas - UNLV's Halima Decree posted a 26th place finish in the 100m dash in her first ever appearance in the NCAA Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
DeCree, a junior and the MWC Champion in the 100m dash, finished sixth in her preliminary heat with a time of 11.63, placing her 26th out of 30. DeCree, who was scheduled to run the 100m on Wednesday before rain pushed the schedule back a day, would scratch in the 200m dash, which started just shortly after the 100m.
