All-American Spence

AUSTIN, Texas - UNLV's Christine Spence ran a career-best time for the third straight race as she finished seventh in the finals of the 400m hurdles on Saturday at the NCAA Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Spence crossed the finish line in 57.20, the second fastest time in school history. With her seventh place finish, she became the first Rebel since 2002 to earn All-American honors. She gave UNLV two points as a team, placing them 65th overall

Spence also finished 13th in the high jump on Friday after clearing 5 feet, 10 inches.
