UNLV Hosts UC Santa Barbara

LAS VEGAS - The Rebel swim team will host UC Santa Barbara in a dual meet tomorrow beginning at noon in the Buchanan Natatorium.

UNLV women's swim team is coming off a 134-109 victory over the Wyoming Cowgirls last Saturday. Leading the Rebels this season are Julie Babin, who won the 1000 free and 500 free last weekend, and Kim Bonney, who won the 200 IM and 200 breast against the Cowgirls.

The Guachos are coming off a 168-94 loss against the University of the Pacific. Top swimmers for UC Santa Barbara last weekend were Lindsay Delanzo and Jennifer Schwalb who took two first place finishes apiece. Delanzo won the 100 and 200 backstoke competitions while Schwalb won the 100 and 200 butterfly events.

Tomorrow's competition will mark the final meet for seniors JaNae Ferante, Jessica Field, and Megan Rhoner in the Buchanan Natatorium. The departing seniors will be saying a few words before the competiton.
