LAS VEGAS - Host UNLV will at least have a doubles team playing for a title in its own men's tennis tournament on Sunday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
On Saturday at the annual Fall Classic, the duo of Romain Massaro and Wes Burrows first defeated the combination of Tommy Garrison of Oklahoma and Andrew Felsenthal of Alabama 8-6 and then upended Oscar Posada and Juan Crosa of East Tennessee State 8-5 in the semifinals.
The Rebel pair will play Tennessee's Kaden Hansel and Bobby Cameron in the championship match.
The singles title will be contested between 107th-ranked Ruben Gonzales of Illinois and Ryan Rowe of Illinois. In Flight Two, Fresno State's Charles Irie will face ETSU's Crosa.
