Rebel Duo Out-Dueled In Final

LAS VEGAS - UNLV's doubles team of Romain Massaro and Wes Burrows lost during Sunday's finals at the Rebel Fall Classic at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

The Rebel pair fell to Tennessee's Kaden Hansel and Bobby Cameron 8-5.

The singles title of the top flight was an all-Illinois affair as 107th-ranked Ruben Gonzales downed Illini teammate Ryan Rowe 6-7, 6-1, 6-0.

In Flight Two, East Tennessee State's Juan Crosa rallied past Fresno State's Charles Irie 6-7, 6-3, 6-2.

The weekend tournament closed fall play for the UNLV men's team. The Rebels will next be in action when they open their dual-match schedule on January 27 at UC Irvine.
