BOISE, Idaho - Steady rain forced the 47th-ranked UNLV men's tennis team indoors Saturday where it ran into another storm in the form of No. 41 Boise State, who shut out the Rebels 7-0 at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center.

The Rebels, who also lost at Boise State in January, fell to 10-4 on the year while the Broncos improved to 18-6.

UNLV, which was once again playing without No. 2 player Aviram Salomon because of injury, lost two of three doubles matches to fall behind 1-0. The Rebels' lone win came at the second spot where Joel Kielbowicz and David Campbell upset the 39th-ranked duo of Matias Silva and Ikaika Jobe 9-7.

In singles play, only two Rebels managed to win even a set. Kielbowicz, ranked 91st, barely had his 10-match winning streak snapped in a super-tiebreaker vs. Thomas Schoeck, 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (10-8). Also losing via tiebreaker was Jonathan Hooper, 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (10-7) to Eric Roberson at No. 5.

UNLV will finish its three-match trip to Idaho by taking on 75th-ranked Portland on Sunday morning.
