LAS VEGAS - The 30th-ranked UNLV women's tennis team won every set for the second straight match in a 7-0 victory over UR Riverside at the Fertitta Tennis Complex Sunday.
The Lady Rebels improved to 5-1 while the Highlanders fell to 3-8.
UNLV began the morning by sweeping three doubles matches for one team point, which improved the squad to an eye-popping 14-1 in dual-match doubles this season.
In singles play, 21st-ranked Elena Gantcheva improved to 21-2 overall with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Michelle Beyronneau at the top spot.
