WALNUT, Calif. - UNLV seniors Teri Trautwein and Michele Suszek both posted top-25 finishes Friday at the 47th Annual Mt. SAC Relays held at Hilmer Lodge Stadium on the campus of Mt. San Antonio Community College.

Trautwein earned 16 th place in the long jump with a leap of 14'-11.50" and Suszek finished 22nd in the steeplechase with a time of 11:10.22. Friday was the first day of competition for collegiate athletes, as the meet runs through Sunday.

Saturday's events will feature the field athletes and among the Rebel participants is Alayna Mills in the hammer throw. Sunday the meet concludes with more field events as well as races on the track. Halima Decree, who ran an NCAA Regional qualifying time of 11.27 in the 100 meters last weekend at the Texas Relays, will run in the 100 and 200 meters this weekend for UNLV, as well as running legs on the relay teams. Brittney Bullocks and Deanna Appuglise will compete in the 400 meters and Miesha McClendon will run in the 100 meter hurdles.
