LAS VEGAS - The UNLV men's tennis team will welcome players from six other programs to town this weekend for the Rebel Classic, which will close out the school's fall tournament season.
With renovations to UNLV's on-campus stadium's courts not yet complete, the event is expected to move across town to the Darling Memorial Tennis Center.
Schools scheduled to send competitors are Illinois, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Fresno State, BYU and NAIA program Fresno Pacific.
Competing for host UNLV will be Luca Barlocchi, Wes Burrows, David Campbell, Jonathan Hooper, Brett Hunter, Elliot Wronski and Matt Kunkel. The tournament kicks off Friday morning and will be made up of one flight of doubles and two flights of singles along with consolation play in both.
