WALNUT, Calif. - The UNLV women's track and field 4x100 relay team had a strong performance Saturday at the Mt. SAC Relays, finishing fourth in a strong field at Hilmer Lodge Stadium.

The team, made up of Lekeisha Lawson, Lauren Johnson, Brittney Bullocks and Tanesha Carr, crossed the finish line in a time of 46.56, seventh-hundredths of a second away from a top-3 placing. West Virginia won with a time of 45.72, followed by Cal State Northridge's 46.03 and San Diego State's 46.49.

UNLV's originally had athletes running in individual events, but poor weather caused the Rebel runners to scratch out of their events.
