LAS VEGAS - Despite sunny skies, Las Vegas temperatures refused to get out of the 30s on Saturday, which affected action for a second day at the Freeman Memorial Women's Tennis Championships at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

With half of the field choosing to sit out because of the cold conditions, players from the other four teams went outside of the tournament's draws and played added doubles matches.

Host UNLV remained perfect on the weekend with two more doubles victories. Elena Gantcheva and Kristina Nedeltcheva downed Jessica Leitch and Sabrina Capannolo of Arizona State 8-3, while Linda Tempelfelde and Mery Constanti got by Monica Hoz de Vila and Anna Powaska or Oregon 8-5. With forecasts putting Sunday's temperatures in the mid-40s, the teams will attempt to play at least the first round of the singles draw beginning at 11 a.m.
