Wronski Ready

Oct. 3, 2007

LAS VEGAS - UNLV junior Elliot Wronski has drawn a tough path in his first appearance at the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championships.

Wronski, who is ranked a career-best 27th in the preseason, will face No. 19 Daniel Vallverou of Miami (Fla.) in Thursday's first round at the Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa.

The winner of that match will later in the day face the winner of fourth-ranked Travis Helgeson of Georgia vs. Michael James of Penn State.

The event offers the first national singles and doubles titles of the 2007-08 collegiate tennis season, and is followed by the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships in November and the season-ending NCAA Championships in May.
