TULSA, Okla. - UNLV junior Elliot Wronski lost twice on Thursday and was eliminated from the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championships.
Wronski, who is ranked a career-best 27th, fell in straight sets to No. 19 Daniel Vallverou of Miami (Fla.), 6-1, 6-2, in the first round at the Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa.
Later in the day in the consolation draw, Wronski won the opening set but then lost to No. 35 Michael James of Penn State 3-6, 6-2, 6-1.
