KAHUKU, Hawaii - The UNLV men's golf team shot a final-round 13-under-par 275 and finished in a tie for fourth place on Wednesday at the Turtle Bay Intercollegiate played at Turtle Bay Resort.
Tennessee led wire-to-wire and won the tournament at 64-under 800 after a final-round 27-under 261. UC Irvine finished second, 21 shots back at 43-under. UT-Arlington finished third at 41-under, while Saint Mary's, UNLV and Charleston all tied for fourth at 35-under 829.
UNLV was led individually by Seung-su Han, who shot a final-round 5-under 67 to finish in a tie for 13th place at 11-under 205. Tennessee's Charles Ford and UC Irvine's Sean Shahi finished as co-champions at 16-under.
Other Rebel final-round scores, totals and places: Matt Kinsinger, 69, 208, T21st; Brandon Loska, 69, 208, T21st; Eddie Olson, 70, 211, T44th; Jarred Texter, 70, 213, T51st.
The Turtle Bay Intercollegiate concluded the fall season for the Rebels. UNLV will be back in action January 28-29, at the PING Arizona Intercollegiate in Tucson, Ariz.
NOTE: It was mistakenly reported on Tuesday that the second round was played on a par 73 course. All three rounds were actually played on a par 72 layout.
