LAS VEGAS - UNLV cross country announced its 2007 schedule on Thursday and the Rebels are slated to run in five regular season meets and then the MWC Championships on Oct. 27.

The Rebels will become quite familiar with the state of California, as their first three regular season meets will take place in the Golden State. UNLV opens its season on Sept. 8 at the UC Irvine Invite and then travels to San Diego the following week for the Aztec Invitational on Sept. 15 in San Diego State. After taking a week off the Rebels travel to UC Riverside for a meet on Sept. 29.

UNLV will then travel to the Arizona State Invite on Oct. 5 before wrapping up its regular season at the NCAA Pre-National meet in Terre Haute, IN on Oct. 13.

UNLV will then rest a week before traveling to the 2007 Mountain West Conference Championships, held in San Diego and hosted by San Diego State on Oct. 27.
