LAS VEGAS - The UNLV men's basketball team recorded two victories this past week with a win on Wednesday, Jan. 23 against Wyoming, 78-71, at the Thomas & Mack Center, then went to San Diego, Calif., and recorded a 72-69 victory over San Diego State on Saturday, Jan. 26.

UNLV, which is 15-4 on the season and tied for first place in the Mountain West Conference with a 4-1 mark, matched last season's start of 15-4. Last year's team finished the season 30-7 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16.
