LAS VEGAS - UNLV swept both the Mountain West Conference Men's Swimming and Diving weekly honors, as Calan Eldridge was named Swimmer of the Week while Vincent English was named Diver of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Eldridge, a sophomore from Stouffville, Ontario, swept both of his individual events this past Saturday to help UNLV claim a 196-98 victory over Utah. He won the 100 free in a time of 45.83, and the 200 free in 1:40.84. Both times currently lead the conference, and rank him in the top 60 in the nation. Eldridge also swam on the first-place 400 free relay squad.

English, a junior from Renton, Wash., won both diving events in the Rebels' win over the Utes. He posted a score of 252.07 on the one-meter, and 261.53 on the three-meter event.

UNLV will return to action this week, as it will compete in the Nike Cup in Long Beach, Calif., Nov. 20-22.
