LAS VEGAS - UNLV Athletics took part in a food drive in conjunction with Three Square during its football game on Nov. 13, its women's basketball game on Nov. 14 and its men's basketball game on Nov. 14. During that time, UNLV collected 4,772 pounds of food.
Three Square is an organization that was established to end hunger in the valley by providing wholesome, nutritious food to non-profit organizations that serve a wide range of Southern Nevadans in need.
The drive was part of the "UNLV Cares" program effort, which is a community outreach program in which Rebel fans, UNLV staff members and athletics teams work together to interact with the community.
