Free Student Tickets For Sunday

Dec. 9, 2008

LAS VEGAS - The first 250 full-time UNLV students to the Thomas & Mack Center ticket office will be given a free ticket for the UNLV vs. Western Michigan men's basketball game on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 4 p.m. at The Orleans Arena.

The free student-ticket allotment is courtesy of CSUN student government, who paid for the tickets. Friday, Dec. 12 will be the last day for students to pick up the tickets (while supplies last). The TMC ticket office hours are 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. during weekdays.

A limited number of tickets to the game are also available for purchase by the general public at the Thomas & Mack Center ticket office for $32 each.

Individuals who are 2008-09 Runnin' Rebel plaza level season ticket holders already have tickets to the game as they were included with their season tickets. Because available tickets to the game are limited, fans with tickets that are not planning on using them are encouraged to donate their tickets to support local youth programs and organizations through the UNLV Cares effort. UNLV men's basketball is involved with a variety of youth-related programs and any donated tickets will be used to support these efforts.

Rebel fans are encouraged to deliver extra tickets to the UNLV men's basketball office at the Thomas & Mack Center prior to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, so they can be put to use. For more information, call Bridget Byrne at 702-895-3295.
