LAS VEGAS - The UNLV men's basketball team recorded two victories this past week with a win on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at TCU, 70-58, then hosted New Mexico at the Thomas & Mack Center, and recorded a 79-60 victory on Saturday, Feb. 2.

UNLV, which is 17-4 on the season and tied for first place in the Mountain West Conference with a 6-1 mark, has matched last season's start of 17-4. Last year's team finished the season 30-7 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16.
