  • TCU made 10 three-pointers in the first half to set a MWC tournament record for most three-pointers in a half and went 6-for-7 from beyond the three-point arc in the first 10 minutes.
  • Only eight of TCU's 38 first-half points came from inside the three-point arc.
  • By appearing in tonight's game, UNLV's Curtis Terry played his 129th career game, the most games played in a career by a MWC player. Curtis surpassed Utah's Bryant Markson, who played in 128 games over his career (2002-2006).
  • UNLV started the second half with a 9-2 run over the first 2:44. Then TCU responded with a 17-4 run over 3:06 to take the lead 61-56 at the 12:40 mark.
  • UNLV has had at least three players score in double figures in six of the past eight games.
  • With 17 three-pointers TCU set the MWC tournament record for most three-pointers in a game.
  • TCU's Ryan Wall scored a season high 15 points going 5-of-6 from beyond the arc.
  • UNLV (11) and TCU (17) combined for 28 three-pointers in the contest, setting an overall MWC record for most 3-pointers by two teams. The previous record for overall games was 26, set by UNLV (15) and Utah (11) on Jan. 3, 2007.
  • The last time TCU had two players score 20 or more points was on Dec. 27, 2007 against Prairie View A&M.
  • TCU's 17 three-pointers ties the school record for the most three-point field goals scored in a game. The last time was against Grambling State on Dec. 30, 1999.
  • This contest marks the third time this season UNLV has had five players score in double figures (Adams-29, Darger-11, Rougeua-17, Shaw-11, Terry-15).
  • UNLV has advanced to the semifinals in all eight MWC tournaments in which it has participated (UNLV was ineligible for the 2001 tournament).
