Bonney Swims In First Day At NCAA Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio - UNLV senior Kim Bonney competed in her first event at the 2008 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday morning, held at Ohio State's McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio.

Bonney, who will swim three events in this year's championships, posted a time of 2:02.77 in the 200 IM during the morning preliminaries, and finished in 52nd place. She will swim the 100 breast on Friday, and the 200 breast on Saturday on the final day of the championships.
